About us

Halstead Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was founded in 2000 by Rebecca Lane, an experienced, local physiotherapist who later went on to open Haverhill Physiotherapy Clinic in 2006 and Braintree & Bocking Physiotherapy Clinic in 2009.

With three clinics, we pride ourselves on providing and maintaining the highest levels of physiotherapy within the Essex/Suffolk area. Our highly skilled, chartered physiotherapists specialise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain, sciatica, tennis elbow and so much more. We are able to aid healing and rehabilitation in most medical and surgical conditions and our team will spend time educating patients on how to avoid the reoccurrence of issues in the future.

Our physiotherapists have an extensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. They have a good understanding of many injuries and complaints and know how the body works and what happens when things go wrong. This knowledge ensures that the treatment you receive at Braintree, Halstead and Haverhill Physiotherapy Clinic is suited to your specific needs.

All physiotherapists are chartered and registered with the Health Professions Council. We are registered with BUPA, AVIVA and all other major private health companies and work closely with local GPs and consultants.

Self-financing patients are also welcome, without GP referral. Prior to your first appointment you will be asked to sign a consent form to confirm that you agree for your problem to be assessed. All discussions and records are in the strictest of confidence.

During the initial consultation, your problem will be assessed and a diagnosis made. This will involve a thorough examination and the physiotherapist will explain the procedure fully. Plastic models may be used to explain your condition and a treatment regime will be suggested. You are entitled to refuse any part of the treatment without prejudice in the future. The sessions will last approximately thirty minutes.

All three clinics have free parking facilities and appointments can be made to suit individual needs, with daytime, evening and weekend appointments available.

Spinal problems
...my therapy was for a painful neck, my therapist Sean Roberts at the Haverhill clinic was excellent, professional, he answered all of my questions and gave me good advise.  My neck is now 95% ok and with exercise pain free.
