Rebecca Lane BSc (Hons) MCSP
Completed her degree at the University of East Anglia. Since qualifying has worked in the NHS and in the private sector before starting HALSTEAD PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC in 2000 and HAVERHILL PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC in 2006.
Has completed a postgraduate course in Sports Physiotherapy as well as regular physiotherapy courses on the latest Standards and techniques. Prior to starting the clinic worked as a physiotherapist to the National Volleyball squad.
Jackie Henley BSc (Hons) MCSP
Qualified from The London School of Physiotherapy in 1982.
Completed Diploma in Hydrotherapy in 1984 at Royal National Hospital.
Joined Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in October 2000 part-time and now works four days a week.
Caroline Munro BSc (Hons) MAACP MAPPI
I graduated from Southampton University in 2008 with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy and started working at Kings College Hospital, London. I rotated through different specialist areas including outpatients, Liver Unit, Amputees, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Stroke Rehab, Neuromedicine and Neurosurgery. I moved to Essex in 2005 and worked at the Oaks Hospital, Colchester in Musculoskeletal outpatients. I started working at the Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in January 2008. As well as treating musculoskeletal injuries, I also teach modified Pilates and am qualified to use acupuncture for pain relief.
Peter Murphy
Peter attained an Honours Degree in Sport and Exercise Science before completing his Physiotherapy Degree at St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 2003. After working at Crystal Palace FC, he spent five years in the NHS where he rotated in all major fields before specialising in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Joining the Oaks Private Hospital, Colchester in 2008, he gained extensive experience with the Spinal Triage Clinic and worked closely with Orthopaedic Consultants and Sports Physicians. Additionally, Peter is qualified in manual therapy and Acupuncture and prides himself on the ability to treat all walks of life with his varied experience.
Peter regards himself as a family man and enjoys spending time with his two children. Peter still dabbles with Powerlifting and Strength training and strangely has an outdoor gym?!! One thing you don't know about Peter is that he had trials for, and trained with the British Bobsleigh Team but got scared of the injury risk !!
Elliott Brock - Physiotherapy Extended Scope Practitioner
Elliott qualified in 2003 from the University of Southampton and commenced his professional career in Cardiff. Prior to this, he had worked as a physiotherapy assistant in Stoke-on-Trent since 1998 During his time as a Junior Physiotherapist in South Wales, he gained further experience working in areas such as mental health; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopaedic medicine; elderly rehabilitation; respiratory medicine, surgical; paediatrics; hydrotherapy and musculoskeltal outpatients. His first senior post was spent working in intensive care as well as leading the rehabilitation of post-op amputee patients. Whilst in Cardiff, Elliott worked part-time for Cardiff Blues Rugby Club as well as working full-time for Cardiff City Football Club.
In 2006 Elliott moved to Colchester where he continued to work with various sports clubs including swimming and rugby teams. He also worked at a local private hospital; specializing in musculoskeltal outpatients, which enabled him to build close relations with local orthopaedic consultants and other specialist's consultants/ sports physicians and podiatrists. During his time at this hospital, Elliott specialised in treating spinal conditions working as an Extended Scope Practioner (ESP) alongside the spinal and pain consultants, requesting scans and blood tests as well as orchestrating complex spinal patients management.
In July 2009 Elliott commenced working for Lane Physiotherapy Ltd at the newly opened Braintree and Bocking Physiotherapy Clinic and started practicing at the Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in November 2009. Elliott continues to stay abreast of the latest research and treatment techniques within the physiotherapy profession to help and regularly attends post-graduate training courses. Elliott also continues to work on a local orthopaedic ward on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and post-op inpatient rehabilitation programs.
His specialist areas are spinal injuries, sport medicine and general rehabilitation.
